Justin Prier


Justin is a Physical Therapist, Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist, personal trainer, strength and conditioning specialist, senior fitness specialist, speaker, and clinical instructor for university bachelors and masters programs throughout the country.  He has been named one of Johnson County’s premier trainers in 435 Magazine.  Justin is co-owner and operator of BioFit-Therapy Based Fitness in Overland Park, Kansas, an elite training facility that focuses on bridging the gap between medical intervention and fitness results.  His applied knowledge of physiology and body mechanics enables him to effectively challenge each individual client to reach their goals as efficiently as possible. Justin enjoys traveling with his family, coaching his daughters soccer teams, and playing ultimate frisbee.




Scott Heffner


Scott received his BA degree from Binghamton University, with a MS from Oklahoma State. Scott has been a Personal Trainer for more than 15 years, and certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and is a certified Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Specialist. Scott is co-owner and operator of BioFit-Therapy Based Fitness in Overland Park, Kansas, an elite training facility that focuses on bridging the gap between medical intervention and fitness results. Scott is a former professional drug-free Bodybuilder, and has been featured on NBC Action News, Muscle & Fitness magazine and the Kansas City Star. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing music, and of course exercising!





Ryan Kerola


Ryan became a Muscle Activation Techniques™ Certified Specialist in 2011. He began his training career after he received a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from UW La Crosse (2004) and became a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (2005). Ryan has built custom resistance training programs that have helped a diverse population of clients ranging from a 68 year old grandmother a few months post knee replacement to Division I football players/prospects. He has helped several people lose between 20 and 100 lbs while exercising around a variety of unique physical limitations. Ryan’s mission with each of his clients is to help restore proper muscle function and then take them through a safe and effective exercise program that is specific to each individual’s needs and goals.



Jamie Eager

Jamie Eager | Personal Trainer | Overland Park, KS

Jamie received her BS degrees in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from Kansas State University where she also spent time rehabilitating athletes in the training rooms. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2005 and is also a Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Specialist. Jamie is a former fitness competitor and a current nutrition company spokesperson. She has worked with all types of clientele, ranging from weekend warriors to professional athletes. She is passionate about helping people regain their quality of life by improving their muscular function. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her son, and staying active.



Kim Prier

Kim received her BS in Education at the University of Missouri-KC. In her previous career she was an award winning science teacher. She is a certified personal trainer through the renowned Cooper Institute (CI-CPT). She has been a fitness enthusiast her whole life and helped lay the business foundation for BioFit over ten years ago. She enjoys motivating her clients to become their best through safe, progressive, and fun workouts. Kim enjoys the adventure of traveling, biking, back country hiking and being outdoors with her family.


Lainey Uphoff

Lainey is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified personal trainer. She received her Doctorate from the University of Kansas Medical Center in May 2016. Prior to attending physical therapy school, she earned her B.Sc. in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. Lainey has helped individuals with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions reach their unique goals. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between traditional physical therapy intervention and lifelong fitness to allow clients to enjoy full and healthy lives. In her free time, Lainey enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and staying active with her dog, Lola.


Liz Kampschroeder

Liz has a BSE in Community Health Education from the University of Kansas and training certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as well as Parrillo Performance. Her passion is nutrition and fueling the female body. Specializing in training women over 30, Liz works with each client independently to assess and create specific strategies towards obtaining their goals. An athlete her entire life as a basketball player, tri-athlete and professional fitness competitor, she recognizes the importance of individual nutrition and training services to match the demands of specific sports. She also understands the importance of balance when it comes to career and personal life. Liz is working towards her MAT certification, and the added value this will bring to her knowledge and skill set when striving to help women become their best selves through proper training and nutrition.



Kelsey Porter


Kelsey received her BS in Kinesiology from Kansas State UNiversity, and her training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She has always had a passion for fitness and loves training because of the ability to help impact clients’ lives in a positive way – from better health to more confidence. She has worked with people of all ages and fitness levels to help them reach their specific weight loss and/or strength goals. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoyes running, traveling and spending time with friends and family, including her husband and their Frenchie Bodie.




Arthur Hall

Arthur is a Certified Muscle Activation Technique (MAT™) Specialist and a Personal Trainer certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  His passion lies in restoring optimal muscular health to individuals.  He prepares a plan to help develop and motivate his clients to see the benefits of efficient exercise, and educates his clients on those exercise programs that may cause excessive wear and tear to their bodies.

Clients who work great with Arthur seek the knowledge and direction to get started whether they have general discomfort or recurring injuries.  Arthur’s main goal for his clients is to listen to their goals and help develop, manage, and maintain a safe progressive program to ensure optimal health and longevity throughout their journey toward better wellness and healthy living.
